Introduction

  • The objective of the procedure is to utilise the emerging dynamism of private sector, wider participation of Indian industry and provide impetus to MSME/start-ups sector for achieving substantive self-reliance in defence production. 
  • Under this procedure, Supply Order is assured to the selected Development Agency (DA) upon successful acceptance of the developed product where the Design & Development (D&D) cost is reimbursed progressively with supplies.
